NSI Insurance Group—proudly recognized as a South Florida Top 10 Best Places to Work.  We are seeking a Client Manager for Emerging Business/Small Business Sgment in our Commercial Lines Division to manage a high-volume book of small commercial accounts in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong prioritization and client communication skills.

Scope of Responsibilities

This role supports our Emerging Business / Small Commercial segment, working with clients that are typically smaller in size and complexity. Accounts are fast-paced, high-volume, and relationship-driven, providing an opportunity to build strong client management fundamentals across a broad portfolio. You will play a key role in client retention and account development, ensuring each client receives prompt, accurate, and high‑quality support. The ideal candidate thrives in a deadline‑driven environment, is highly self‑motivated, and works effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

1. Act as primary contact between client and/or producers and insurance carriers, and apply knowledge of insurance policies and procedures to provide proper and effective service and responsible advice to all clients and/or producers.

2. Contact clients and/or producers within required time frames to evaluate client needs and make recommendations, present bid results, relate new product information and receive feedback on services.

3. Prepare and provide price quotes for all new and existing clients as needed.

4. Prepare and submit bid specifications to be mailed to carriers.

5. Compare bid results as received and determine recommendations for clients.

6. Process new cases by requesting appropriate documentation from producers or clients as needed. Verify accuracy. Coordinate enrollment process with producers or clients as needed.

7. Quote, bind and underwrite all renewal applications and new business in a timely, accurate manner.

8. Issue endorsements for all client policy changes.

9. Perform new case installation.

10. Prepare all pertinent information, required documentation and correspondence to set up permanent case files and update system.

11. Prepare pre-renewal presentation materials and suggest or offer additional options or policies to clients and/or producers.

12. Review renewal actions, discuss with carriers, negotiate changes, draft renewal proposals and submit.

13. Schedule and hold renewal meetings with clients and/or producers. Update principals on renewal results within required time frames.

14. Attend seminars or training programs or other applicable seminars.

15. Document all telephone inquiries and pertinent policy information. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Insurance Expertise – Strong understanding of Emerging Business in Commercial Lines coverages.Commercial Lines minimum 3 years experience. 

Market and Industry Knowledge – Knowledge of the insurance marketplace, including carriers and coverage options.

Client-Centric Mindset – Ability to clearly explain coverages to clients and provide tailored risk management solutions.

Strong Communicator – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to educate and advise clients confidently.

Relationship Builder – Skilled at fostering and maintaining strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams.

Detail-Oriented & Organized – Capable of managing multiple accounts while ensuring accuracy in policies and proposals.

Relevant Work Experience – Previous experience at a local agency or insurance is highly desirable.

License– Property & Casualty 220 License preferred; Customer Representative 440 minimum allowed
