Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the full range of marketing, communications, and media functions through a defined set of corporate and administrative responsibilities, projects and tasks as assigned.

 

 

A Day in The Life:

  • Supports the planning, budgeting, administration, and execution of all key department functions, including sales marketing campaigns, digital strategies, brand and graphic design, corporate and internal communications, event management, client entertainment, and corporate administration.
  • Participates as an active team member to ensure the accurate, effective, and timely delivery of high quality and consistent services.
  • Provides support and administrative service for all Taylor Oswald hosted events in collaboration with team and internal departments; proactively seeks ideas and opportunities to recommend new or enhance existing events.
  • Maintains an interactive planning calendar in real time that tracks all internal and external events along with individual marketing campaigns and projects; works closely with key department contacts to ensure awareness, status, and deadlines of all projects.
  • Coordinates with the Oswald marketing team and the Oswald Conference Centre including the event scheduling process and fulfillment, client communications, and the coordination of all operational details; secures and directs the needed internal and/or external support for Taylor Oswald Events (Information Technology, facilities, security, building management and maintenance, etc.).
  • Supports all Taylor Oswald internal events, programs, and corporate communications functions in collaboration with Marketing and Human Resources, including special meetings, company picnic and year-end celebrations.
  • Manages and executes the charitable and promotional request and budget tracking process; attends monthly charitable meetings and organizes and fulfills all charitable and promotional requests in collaboration with all involved parties.
  • Supports the promotional products program for Taylor Oswald-branded materials and all event-related needs, including tradeshow materials, invitations, and other marketing collateral pieces.
  • Manages expenditures and processing for promotional materials; serves as the liaison between vendor partners to survey internal client wants, anticipate needs, facilitate orders, negotiate rates, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Supports the management, facilitation, delivery, payments, and fulfillment of all Taylor Oswald client entertainment programs, including sports and entertainment tickets and other available opportunities.
  • Performs key administrative functions of the department, including corporate AMEX and serves as an extension of the accounting AP and AR functions on behalf of the marketing and visibility budget, including but not limited to the coordination of invoice and payment details, input, and coding of marketing expenses into Workday, review and tracking of payments and other duties as assigned.
  • Supports the director on administrative tasks as needed, including calendar management and appointment setting, travel, and conference planning for the department.
  • Supports the Chief Marketing Officer on administrative tasks as needed, including calendar management and appointment setting, travel and conference planning and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

 

What You’ll Need:

Some general industry knowledge is preferred but not required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or public relations from a four-year college or university and one to three years or more of related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior Experience Specifically Required

  • Prior experience managing projects and tasks
  • Prior customer/client service experience

Compensation

This role is compensated at up to $60,000/yr commensurate with experience.
