SUMMARY

The Select Account Manager provides ongoing support and service to commercial property and casualty clients within Business Group in conjunction with Select Client Managers. The Select Account Manager assists with existing clients and new business prospects by performing a variety of tasks. This role is primarily an internally focused position, with some level of client contact.

In this role, you will contribute to the team by:

·         Providing quality service through completion of account-related tasks.

·         Assisting service team in processing questions related to policy and endorsement processing.

·         Preparing and sending clients information such as auto ID cards, certificates of insurance, binders etc.

·         Reviewing invoices in agency management system and sending to clients

·         Auditing and confirming policies are accurate and resolving any discrepancies

·         Entering required information into agency management systems

·         Maintaining current account and policy data in agency management systems

·         Conducting research within file documentation

·         Thoroughly documenting tasks and relevant interactions in our agency management system

·         Informing client service team of developments or roadblocks in completion of duties. 

·         Communicating effectively with Select Client Managers and ASRs. Providing timely and complete information to allow them to efficiently manage their processes.

·         Performing other duties and special projects as assigned

·         Acting as a backup to team personnel as needed

·         Maintaining confidential information.

·         Achieving desired levels of data completeness and process integrity by consistently meeting activity timelines, quality metrics, and goals

Required:

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         1+ year working in a client service role with an agency setting or formal education within the insurance, employee benefits, or financial services industry is preferred

·         Property and Casualty license

·         Excellent computer and office machine skills, specifically with Microsoft Office products

 

Preferred: Associates degree or some college. Prior client service experience within a property and casualty insurance environment.
