Senior Project Manager – Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale initiatives across an enterprise of insurance brokerage agencies. This highly visible role drives the initiation, planning, execution and closure of complex, multi-year transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

·         Partner with project sponsors and senior leadership to define project scope, objectives, success criteria, and governance, including development of project charters.

·         Plan and execute complex enterprise-level initiatives from initiation through implementation and closure.

·         Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including task breakdowns, resource allocation, schedules, and dependencies.

·         Establish and manage project budgets, resource requirements, and financial tracking.

·         Lead cross-functional teams across IT, operations, finance, compliance, and external vendors.

·         Oversee system integrations, including data migration, testing, and go-live activities.

·         Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.

·         Develop and execute communication and reporting plans for executive leadership and key stakeholders.

·         Monitor project performance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to quality standards.

·         Provide regular project status updates and executive-level reporting.

·         Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and securely maintained.

·         Evaluate project outcomes and support business adoption and value realization.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

Accountability

The Senior Project Manager is accountable for successfully integrating multiple insurance brokerage agency management systems into a unified enterprise platform, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and strong business adoption.

Qualifications

Required

·         5+ years of project or program management experience

·         Experience leading enterprise system integrations

·         Excellent leadership and communication skills

Preferred

·         Insurance brokerage operations

·         PMP Certification
